September, 2007 Monthly Meeting

Just a reminder that September’s Auburn Brew Club meeting is Thursday, September 13 at 6:30. For more info, feel free to get in touch with us via the contact form.

Up to 2 homebrews per person will get logged in to pass around for discussion. A single 12oz bottle is usually not enough for everyone in attendance to get a good taste, so try to bring at least a 22oz or couple of 12oz bottles up to 1.5 Liters or so of each of your homebrews you’d like to share. Bring more if you like in case we go through the logged in beers and people are still wanting.

Remember to bring a small tasting glass, a homebrew/good commercial beer for the raffle, a folding chair just in case we run out of seats, and a snack if you choose. You can read more on our monthly meetings page.

The beer style that we’ll have during the “judging” part of the meeting will be one of the following.

12A. Brown Porter
12B. Robust Porter
12C. Baltic Porter
13A. Dry Stout
13B. Sweet Stout
13C. Oatmeal Stout
13D. Foreign Extra Stout
13E. American Stout
13F. Russian Imperial Stout

We’re also really looking forward to having some brewers from the Phenix City homebrew club visiting.
