update on 2007 Fall Big Brew Saturday Dec 8th

Auburn Brew Club 2007 Fall Big BrewJust a note to let you know how large this Saturday’s event has grown and urge you not to miss out. We believe this will be the most significant homebrewing and craft beer appreciation event that the Auburn/Opelika area has ever experienced.

We have 12 brewers gathering together to brew 10 batches for a total of 85 gallons of a variety of beer, including Dunkleweizen, Pecan Ale, Schwarzbier, Pumpkin Ale, Belgian Golden Strong Ale, Strong Scotch Ale, IPA, Czech Pils, and Oyster Stout.

In attendance, cheering on the brewers, will be another approximately 30 beer enthusiasts.

For tasting, we have a large variety of hmebrews, including: Rauchbier, Belgian Golden Strong with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, Extra Special Bitter, Roggenbier, Wheatwine, Spiced Belgian Dark Strong, North German Altbier, Belgian Trippel, Belgian Dubbel, Kolsch, Dry Stout, Saison, India Pale Ale, and 30 or so bottles of various year-old homebrews. There will also be an assortment of commercial craft brews, including Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan Ale.

There will be plenty of food and non-alcoholic refreshments.
