Auburn Brewclub Wins at 15th Annual Peach State Brewoff!

The results of the 15th Annual Peach State Brew off are out, and our club did great!

Here are the categories and who won:

Category 4- Spice/Herb/Vegetable (Mini BOS)
1st Place - John Little (21b)
3rd Place - Priscilla Little (21a)

Category 10 - ESB & English Pale
1st Place - John Little (08c)

Category 18 - German Wheats
1st Place - Stephen Hamilton (15b)

Category 23 - Old Ale and Strong Scotch
2nd Place - Scott Johnson (09e)

Category 28 - Schwartz & Foreign Extra
2nd Place - John Little (04c)

Our club has a total of 22 points, putting us above 50% of the other clubs that entered.  We are now 7th out of 17 clubs that had entries! 

Some other interesting facts:
1.  Everyone who entered from our club (Scott, Priscilla, John, and myself) all got at least 1 award!
2.  We entered 11 beers, and got 6 awards–so we got an award for more than 50% of our entries!
