Upcoming Scheduled Meetings in April and May 2008

April Meeting - The Auburn Brew Club will have its next regular Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at 6:30pm at Stephen’s house. Members and visitors are encouraged to bring a couple of liters of homebrew to the meeting for tasting and discussion. But if you are new to homebrewing or it has been a while, and you don’t have any to share, that’s ok too! We welcome everyone who has an interest and would like to learn to brew. You can find out more about our monthly meetings here. Remember to bring your own tasting glass and a fold-up chair if you have one. The typical den doesn’t usually have 20 chairs, but we could have 20 people show up!

Spring 08 Big Brew - The Auburn Brew Club’s Spring Big Brew will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Jeff’s house was cancelled. This is the same day as the American Homebrewers Association’s national big brew day. We should have a dozen or more brewers with equipment set up at Jeff’s, brewing a variety of beers. This will be an all day event, beginning in the morning around 9am and lasting until late. There’ll be plenty of food and good craft beer. About 40 people came by for our Fall 07 Big Brew, and a great time was had by all. This is a perfect time to watch others brew if you’ve never seen anylne make a small batch of beer before.
