August 2008 monthly meeting

Very late post, but alot has been happening. An email went out yesterday to around 100 folks, so we should have at least 20 or so. 4 or 5 new people have indicated they’re coming, so we’ll be glad to meet some new brewers. The August 2008 monthly meeting is at Doug B’s tomorrow, Thursday, August 14, at 6:30. For details, contact us.

Brandon will be treating us to some Stuttgart style pretzels (recipe courtesy of a visiting ethics professor, originally from Stuttgart). We’ll also be passing around some homemade wine for the first time at one of our monthly meetings… an Australian Cabernet Shiraz. Thanks Mitch! And as usual, there will be plenty of different beer styles for tasting… all brewed right here in Auburn/Opelika.
