An article published today in the local news in Athens, Alabama is bad news in that it can potentially lead to misconceptions about homebrewing beer, mead, wine and cider… a popular hobby in the U.S. The activity reported in the Athens news should be distinguished from the harmless hobby that many in Alabama enjoy.

What a great day! We had around 100 people stop by (80 signed our Petition to Legalize Homebrewing in Alabama). The weather was perfect. If only LSU hadn’t pulled ahead late in the 4th quarter to win, it would have been a perfect day.
