- BrewBoard – With nearly 8,000 registered user and a half-million posts, the BrewBoard (aka the “Green Board”) is one of the most active homebrewing discussion boards on the internet. Sponsored by Homebrew Adventures, a retail and mail order homebrew supply shop.
- HBD – The Home Brew Digest is one of the oldest homebrew discussion resources on the internet. It has existed in various forms since before 1988, and current discussions are held on its primitive script message board (linked to here) and its email listserv (linked to below). Beware, this message board tends to see frequent warfare.
- HomeBrewTalk – With nearly 12,000 registered users and 400,000 posts, HomeBrewTalk is another very popular homebrewing message board.
- More Beer – Originally sponsored by Beer, Beer and More Beer, now merged with Wine, Coffee, Food and Other Beverages forums and branded MoreFlavor. Nearly 6,000 registered users and 225,000 posts.
- Northern Brewer – Nearly 10,000 registered users and a half-million posts, another giant homebrewing discussion board. Sponsored by Northern Brewer Homebrew Supply, an excellent mail order brewing supply shop.
- Real Beer – some decent sized homebrewing discussion forums, together with many other forums generally discussing commercial craft beer.
- The Brewing Network – the secret lair of the BN army. Not for the squeamish.
